HOME·COMPARE·VS ROOFIT

Curbsight vs RoofIT

RoofIT is a roofing office CRM — pipeline, estimates, proposals, invoicing, supplier ordering — and it covers that lane properly. Every one of those tools starts after somebody has already found the job. Curbsight covers the same office lane and the half that comes before it: the map arrives with your territory already ranked, and the back office runs behind it.

The short answer

RoofIT is a back office for a roofing company, and it manages the leads you already have. Curbsight starts one step earlier: every property in your territory arrives ranked 0-100 by Curbsight's proprietary scoring before a rep leaves the truck, with canvassing, routes, owner phones and storm exposure attached, and the office lane running behind it. What RoofIT's own pages publish nowhere, as of August 2026, is a property layer — no lead scoring or ranking, no storm history, no knock tracking, no territory map, no route optimization, no owner skip-trace. The other line that is not in the subscription is measurement: RoofIT's roof measurements come from an EagleView integration, so every measured roof carries a report fee on top of the plan. Curbsight computes real roof square footage in-house and drafts the estimate off it with no per-report fee — live in newer markets while older markets backfill.

What RoofIT covers, plainly

Read their own pages and the scope is clear, and it is real. RoofIT publishes a sales pipeline with customizable workflows and permissions, lead intake and tracking, job and project management, a roofing estimator, proposals, billing and invoicing, on-site payments, real-time expense tracking, sales and commission calculation, a payroll connection, insurance filing, reporting, and files and photos stored on the lead. Supplier catalogs come from ABC Supply, SRS Distribution and QXO with live material pricing. Accounting syncs to QuickBooks. There are iOS and Android apps, and the plan is month-to-month with a free trial and no credit card required, per their published pages as of August 2026. That is a complete office lane at a low sticker, and a shop that needs an office lane should take it seriously rather than have it dismissed for them.

The half that is not there

Across RoofIT's own features and integrations pages and every navigation item, as of August 2026, one whole side of a roofing company is missing. No property data. No lead scoring or ranking. No storm or hail history. No knock tracking, no territory map, no route optimization, no owner skip-trace. Canvassers show up as a role you assign to a lead that already exists, not as a canvassing product. That is not a criticism of what they built. It is a description of where their product starts. RoofIT manages the leads you already have, which means something upstream still has to produce them — shared leads, ads, or reps guessing street by street. That upstream is where the money actually goes, and no CRM subscription of any price reduces it.

  • Ask where your last 20 jobs came from, and what each one cost to acquire.
  • Ask what a rep does on a Tuesday in February when the phone is not ringing.
  • Ask which line on your P&L is larger: the software, or the leads.

Measurements are the line item that moves

RoofIT's estimator does not measure roofs. It orders them. Their own estimator page describes an EagleView integration that pulls a report into the customer file with one click, and their leads page says you can order one directly from the lead. That is a clean integration, and plenty of shops want that specific report. It also means the subscription does not include measurements: every measured roof adds an EagleView report fee, and that fee scales with how many bids you write, not with how many seats you have. A shop writing 40 bids a month is running two bills, and only one of them is on the pricing page. Curbsight computes real roof square footage per property and drafts the estimate off it with no per-report fee. The honest limit, said out loud: that is live in newer markets and still backfilling in older ones, so ask about your county on the call instead of taking it on faith.

The job file starts full

A CRM with no property layer under it can only start the record empty, and RoofIT is no exception. A rep spends twenty minutes at a door learning everything about a house, sets the appointment, and then somebody types a name and an address into a blank form. Curbsight works the other way around. The appointment is set at the door as a knock outcome, and the job file is born already carrying the property it came from — the owner, the imagery, the roof intelligence, and on the intelligence tiers the 0-100 rank with storm exposure and the claim window attached. Nothing is re-typed because nothing moves between tools. From there the rep self-closes by default, hands it to a closer, or drops it in a pool a closer claims. Appointment setting ships with Curbsight Pro. One design note worth naming: the hand-to-a-closer control only appears once your org has more than one person on it, because a solo operator closes their own appointments.

Where RoofIT is the right call

Said plainly, because a page with no concession is an ad: if your shop already knows where its work comes from — a referral book, a phone that rings, a marketing partner who delivers — and what you need is a pipeline, estimates, proposals, invoicing, QuickBooks and supplier ordering, then RoofIT covers that lane at a lower sticker than Curbsight, and Curbsight is not the cheaper one. RoofIT also works in any US market the day you sign up; Curbsight's scored layer covers its live markets deeply and stands up new counties in days on request, which is a question to ask before you buy rather than after. RoofIT further publishes off-season billing flexibility — in their framing, seasonal teams pay only when they are active. If your shop goes quiet for four months, price that out and get the terms in writing, because it is genuinely useful if it fits how you run.

Choose Curbsight when
  • You go get the work — knocking, calling storm-hit owners, working a territory — and your constraint is which door, not which pipeline stage.
  • You want the map to tell reps where to go tomorrow, not to store the leads you already had.
  • You are paying for a CRM and still paying for leads on top of it.
  • You want the measurement and the estimate to come out of the system instead of being ordered per roof.
  • You want the job file to arrive already carrying the property instead of being typed into a blank form.
Choose RoofIT when
  • You already know where your jobs come from and need the office half only — pipeline, estimates, invoicing, QuickBooks, supplier ordering.
  • Nobody at your shop knocks and nobody is going to; the constraint is paperwork, not doors.
  • You want EagleView reports specifically, and paying per report is already how you work.
  • Your market is outside Curbsight's live coverage and you need software running this week.

Pricing

Curbsight is priced by which half you buy. Curbsight OS is the office half — the CRM pipeline, self-drafting estimates, photo documentation, invoicing with QuickBooks sync, pay engine, time clock, KPI board, and the canvassing and knock-tracking layer in your live markets — at $1,500 a month flat with 15 seats, and no scored leads, no storm alerts and no exclusive territory. Pro is $2,500 with 10 seats and adds your market's intelligence: the scored territory, the storm layer, 20 exclusive zips, and 6,500 owner-phone reveals a month. The arithmetic is deliberate — Pro is the $1,500 system plus $1,000 for your market. RoofIT's published pricing as of August 2026, on their own pricing page, is $349 a month for the first 10 users and $30 a month per user after that, month-to-month. Two lines sit outside that number: EagleView reports are billed per report, and finding the work is not part of the product at all. These are different products solving different problems, and the useful question is not which line item is smaller. It is which one changes what your reps do on Monday morning, and that is a question you answer by looking at your own streets on the call.

Frequently asked questions

How does RoofIT compare with AccuLynx or JobNimbus?
They are the same category. AccuLynx, JobNimbus and RoofIT all run the office — the pipeline, the estimate, the paperwork, the money — on jobs you have already found, and choosing between them is a question of price, feel and which integrations you need. RoofIT's pitch inside that group is the sticker. None of them changes what your reps do at 8am, because none of them tells you which street the storm actually crossed or which roof on it is due. That is the axis Curbsight competes on, and it is why this page is not really a like-for-like comparison.
What is RoofIT CRM?
RoofIT is a roofing CRM from RoofIT Solutions, positioned as a CRM built by roofers. It covers the office side of a roofing company: sales pipeline, lead intake, job and project management, an estimator, proposals, invoicing, on-site payments, expense tracking, commissions, insurance filing, and supplier catalogs from ABC Supply, SRS and QXO, with QuickBooks sync and iOS and Android apps. What it does not publish, as of August 2026, is a property, storm or canvassing layer — so it manages leads rather than producing them.
Does RoofIT include roof measurements?
Not its own. RoofIT integrates EagleView — their pages describe pulling a report into the customer file with one click, or ordering one directly from the lead — so measurements are a per-report cost on top of the subscription. This is also the answer if you arrived comparing RoofIT with Roofr or iRoofing: those are measurement-and-proposal tools, RoofIT is an office CRM, and they solve different halves of the same day. Curbsight computes real roof square footage per property and drafts the estimate from it with no per-report fee, live in newer markets while older markets backfill.
Is RoofIT cheaper than Curbsight?
The sticker is lower, and pretending otherwise would be a lie you could disprove in one click. It is also an incomplete comparison, for two reasons. Measurements are not included — they are ordered through EagleView at a fee per report, which scales with how many bids you write. And RoofIT does not address lead generation at all, so whatever you spend today on shared leads, ads or reps knocking cold streets keeps being spent on top of it. If which door to knock is your constraint, a cheaper tool that does not touch it is not the cheaper option. If it is not your constraint, RoofIT is the cheaper option, plainly.
We already run RoofIT. Can we put Curbsight in front of it?
Yes, and some shops start that way. Curbsight runs as the lead engine ahead of an existing back office: the scored territory, canvassing with knock tracking and routes, owner phones, and appointments set at the door on Pro. We import your existing book for you and geocode-match it to the real properties on your map, so those customers land enriched too. If you later consolidate, the office half is already there — pipeline, estimates, proposals, invoicing, QuickBooks — and the second subscription goes away. Either path starts with the same call: we build a sample territory for your service area and you look at your own streets.
