Score every home by roof age, orientation, property value, and owner status. Find the homeowners who can actually go solar before you knock.
Solar installation has tight qualification criteria — roof needs to be ≤15 years old, south-facing exposure helps, homeowner needs to actually own the home (not renting), and the property value needs to support the financing. CurbSight's scoring formula maps cleanly onto these signals: roof age from year_built, satellite imagery for orientation/exposure, owner_occupied flag, market value. The result is fewer wasted knocks on roofs that can't take a system.
