This page holds every NOAA-documented hail and severe wind event in Tazewell County, Illinois from 2016 to 2025. Tazewell County has logged 81 hail events in that time, 10 of them at 1.75″ (golf-ball) or larger, the size that routinely qualifies a roof for an insurance claim. Add 142 severe thunderstorm-wind events topping out at 87 mph, and most homes in the county have a documented weather event inside the typical carrier filing window. In Curbsight, a hail-hit roof shows up with its storm date already on the card, so nobody cross-references storm records by hand.
