What I am building
Curbsight is a lead and CRM system for roofing and the other home exterior trades, and the standard I hold it to is that it has to be bleeding edge, and it has to scale with a company instead of asking that company to change shape to fit it.
These trades have been handed software built for somebody else for a long time — tools that assume an office, a desk, and a slow week. I would rather build for the person standing at a door in July.
Why the industry, and not just the company
AI and what technology can now do should be accelerating the growth and prosperity of this industry, not passing it by. That is the part I care about most, and it is bigger than one company's roadmap.
A business that only wins when everyone else loses is not one I want to run. I want a community here that builds each other up instead of tearing each other down: knowledge spread freely rather than hoarded, and a platform handed to people whose ideas deserve a bigger room than they have been given.
I intend to put that on a calendar rather than leave it as a sentiment — events, seminars, conferences. People in a room together, not only online.
Who the tools are for
Everyone from first contact to final touch. The rep at the door. The office running the board. The crew on the roof. The owner reconciling at the kitchen table on a Friday night.
The measure is simple and it does not move: less workload, and less time sitting between job states. A release that does not make somebody's day lighter or a job move faster did not earn the ship.
Who owns Curbsight
I do. I founded it and I run it, out of Oklahoma, where it is registered as Curbsight LLC.
Several unrelated companies use the name Curbsight in other industries. This one — curbsight.io — is the property-intelligence and contractor platform for roofing and home exterior services. It is not affiliated with the others.
